If you miss a pill or take it later than usual you risk getting pregnant. Take the missed pill as soon as you remember and take one for that day at the usual time. Use condoms for 7 days after the missed pill to prevent pregnancy. Nothing happens if you get pregnant while taking the pill-the hormones do not affect the baby. If you discover you are pregnant when taking the pill, stop taking it and see a doctor.
