Sex addiction is an overwhelming and out of control desire to have sex. A sex addict feels compelled to seek out and engage in sexual behaviour in spite of the problems it may cause in their personal, social and work lives. Sex addicts can feel alone, isolated and powerless to change their behaviour. Be careful about sexual materials you watch/read that might encourage this desire. Talk to your partner, a friend and health worker if you are worried-admitting an addiction is the first part of recovery.
