Hepatitis B (Hep B) is a serious liver infection which is about 100 times more infectious than HIV. It is passed between people by blood and body fluids so you can get it by having sex with no condom with a person who has Hep B or by sharing sharp objects (like needles and razors) with them. Infected mothers can pass it to their baby during pregnancy and childbirth.
