The symptoms of vitamin D deficiency include:bone fractures that happen with very little injury, especially in adults, bending of the legs in children, muscle weakness including pot-belly, widespread bone pain, especially in the hips. Other symptoms may also occur due to low calcium levels. These include:abnormal heart beats, numbness around the mouth, numbness of arms and legs, involuntary movement of hands or feet.
