Early stomach cancer can cause very mild indigestion-like symptoms, eg heartburn and burping, feeling bloated after only a small meal, losing your appetite, constant stomach pain, feeling or being sick or difficulty swallowing. As the cancer grows, other symptoms may include weight loss, vomiting blood, dark coloured faeces, tiredness or anaemia(too few red blood cells or not enough haemoglobin in the blood) caused by blood loss. One may also have a swelling or a lump in the area above the navel. These symptoms aren't always due to stomach cancer but if you have them, visit your doctor.
