If you have chlamydia when you're pregnant, it may lead to complications such as miscarriage or having your baby prematurely. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during a vaginal birth. This can cause conjunctivitis or pneumonia in your baby. Both of these conditions can be treated.
