Typhoid fever is an infection that affects the intestines and blood. Symptoms may be mild or severe and include among others sustained fever, headache, malaise, anorexia, constipation or diarrhoea and enlarged spleen and liver. Symptoms usually appear 1-3wks after infection. Visit a health unit if you have any of these symptoms.
