Cancerous tumours can grow through your kidney and spread to other parts of your body(through your bloodstream or lymphatic system) where they may grow and form secondary tumours. The lymphatic system is the tissues and organs including: the bone marrow, spleen, thymus and lymph nodes that produce and store cells that fight infection and disease. This spread of cancer is called metastasis.
