Toxoplasmosis is not usually treated, unless you have a weakened immune system or are pregnant. The symptoms should disappear in a few weeks or months. Children should always be checked because swollen glands can be a sign of other illnesses. Those with toxoplasmosis at birth need combinations of anti-toxoplasmosis medications, usually for 1yr. For pregnant women, drugs are available.
