Echinococcosis is mostly without symptoms. If any, they depend mostly on where the echinoccocal cysts are. Eg, if you have cysts in the lungs, you may have a cough and /or chest pain, be short of breath. If you have cysts in the liver and are symptomatic, you will suffer from abdominal pain.
