Several types of changes in the limbs and joints of the young adults may be evident as a result of severe complications in poorly resolved rickets and may include such conditions as bowed legs, knock-knees, sabershin and knob-like joints. Usually this is common where the cause of the original rickets, e. g kidney disorder, remains in adult life.
