You are at risk of developing a uterovaginal prolapse if you've had multiple vaginal deliveries, are obese, smoke, are elderly, have lower estrogen levels(in menopause), have chronic constipation or cough, are in menopause, have long history of heavy straining and previous pelvic surgery, or have a family history of uterovaginal prolapse.
