Your doctor will ask you about your symptoms and try to see what may be putting you at risk of miscarriage. You will be examined to determine if the miscarriage has already happened, if it is complete or whether the pregnancy can be saved. Imaging of your uterus will also be done. Tests for what may be putting you at risk of habitual abortion will be done.
