Many arrhythmias cause no symptoms. When symptoms are present the most common ones are; palpitations, a slow or irregular heartbeat, feeling pauses between heartbeats. More serious symptoms include; anxiety, weakness, dizziness and light-headedness, fainting or nearly fainting, sweating, shortness of breath and chest pain. Seek immediate medical care at the nearest health unit if you get more serious symptoms at a time.
