The biggest risk of cervical dysplasia is sexual intercourse since it is sexually transmitted. Starting sex at young age, many sexual partners, unprotected sex, sex with uncircumcised men, family history of cancer of cervix and conditions that lower body defences, eg smoking and infection by human immunodeficiency virus(HIV).
