To diagnose ovarian hyperstimulation, your doctor will take your medical history and examine you. This may include taking measurements around your abdomen if swollen. Imaging, eg ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis, may be ordered. Blood tests to check on your electrolytes may be done.
