Complications of congestive heart failure include severe limitation of a patient's activity even at rest, breathing complications, kidney failure, clotting of blood within heart chamber that may result in stroke and skin hardening and development of ulcer in the leg due to prolonged swelling. Many complications also occur from side effects of drugs used in its treatment.
