The symptoms usually include:sore throat, headache, difficulty swallowing, fever, tiredness and (rarely) difficulty breathing. There will be white or yellow pus spots over the tonsils and the glands in the neck are swollen. The problem can get worse in 2-3days and usually goes in a week or so.
