Coronary thrombosis may need surgery if your blood vessels to a certain section of your heart are clogged. This will involve bypassing that part of the blood vessel that is clogged. The operation is called coronary bypass surgery. The part that is narrow could also be made to expand by use of a small balloon pushed into the heart through a blood vessel.
