If you have a ureteric stricture, your symptoms will include pelvic pain, which may be acute and intermitent(colic-especially if due to ureteric stone), difficulty or pain during urination, fever, nausea and vomiting if you have an infection. These symptoms are not specific to ureteric stricture and it is best to see your doctor for further evaluation.
