Bronchiectasis causes a persistent cough, makes you feel ill and lose weight, have decreased appetite and feel tired all the time. You may have a fever if it is an infection that has predisposed you to it. You may have bad breath and produce lots of sputum that is foul smelling. Your fingers may become like drumsticks if the disease has been there for long.
