To diagnose coronary thrombosis, your doctor will ask about your symptoms and then examine you especialy your chest. He/She will ask for blood tests to check for certain chemicals that are released in blood when there are blood clots and when the heart is not getting enough oxygen. He/She will also ask for images of blood vessels of the heart and how blood is flowing in them to see exactly which vessels are clogged.
