Tinea corporis(tinea circinata or ringworm of the body) is a superficial dermatophytosis characterized by raised rashes of the skin or the body. Tinea corporis may be either acute(starts and spreads fast) or chronic(slow growth of a mild, slightlyly inflamed, rash).It usually affects exposed areas but may also spread from other infected parts.
