Acute HIV infection period is usually 2-4wks after you got the infection and you may develop various symptoms that are mostly not specific, e. g feve, swelling of lymph nodes, pain in the throat, generalized rashes, muscle pain, feeling ill, mouth and throat sores. Symptoms may also include, but less commonly, headache, nausea and vomiting, enlarged liver/spleen, weight loss, oral thrush. Infected individuals may experience all, some or none of these symptoms.
