In areas with warm climates, you can be affected by phaeomycotic cyst or abscess infection which affects the deep layers of your skin(dermis) and surrounding fat tissue, as a result of infection with brown fungi. The fungal germ frequently isolated in these cysts is Phialophora. Sometimes phaeomycotic cysts are also called phaeomycosis and phaeosporotrichosis.
