SLE can sometimes be caused by certain medicines e. g minocycline, isoniazid, hydralazine, procainamide, chlorpromazine, sulfasalazine, losartan and anti-convulsants. However, this is usually only temporary. Once you stop taking the medicine, symptoms usually stop.
