HIV encephalopathy is characterised by mental slowness, trouble with memory and poor concentration. Sometimes movement is affected and you may have symptoms that include: clumsiness, poor balance and shaking(tremors). Your may also have noticeable behavioural changes that include: lack of general interest, body weakness and reduced emotional responses.
