The symptoms of histoplasmosis show at 3-17days, average 12-14.Most people have no symptoms. The lung infection may be short-term(acute) and mild with tiredness, fever and a cough. If long-term(chronic) and serious, the symptoms are like tuberculosis. Disseminated histoplasmosis can affect many body organs and is fatal unless treated.
