Gonorrhea and HIV/AIDS are not the same. Both are Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).You catch them by having sex without a condom with someone who is infected. Gonorrhea is a bacterial infection which can be cured. HIV/AIDS is a viral disease which can not be cured but the symptoms can be treated. STIs like gonorrhea increase the chances of catching HIV/AIDS. If you think you have an STI or HIV/AIDS go to a health centre for tests and treatment straight away.
