Infection of tissues/tubes that lead to the testicles is called Epididymitis. It can be caused by spread of bacterial infection from the bladder or urethra (tube which carries urine).It can be caught through anal sex, sex with a full bladder or Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) such as chlamydia and gonorrhea. Signs include abdominal pain, testicle pain and swelling, penis discharge, fever and chills, nausea, painful urination. These are symptoms of many different illnesses so go to a health facility for tests to find the exact cause and reduce long term damage.
