A mushroom-like growth on the penis can be a sign of an STI like genital warts or a sign of cancer. Having unprotected sex puts you at risk of getting STIs and increases your risk of getting HIV. STIs can also increase your risk of cancer. Seek early diagnosis and treatment from the nearest health unit if you have a growth on your penis. If you test positive for an STI, ALL previous sex partners should be treated as they may also be infected. ALWAYS use condoms to prevent STIs.
