Diagnosis
To make a diagnosis of menorrhagia, the doctor may ask you about the history of your health and that of your period, perform a physical examination, do a pap smear, take blood, urine, and stool samples for tests. Biopsies(small pieces of tissue) of the endometrium may also be taken for testing.
