Risk factors
The following factors put men at an increased risk of infertility: smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, diseases such as diabetes and mumps, injury to the testes, STIs like gonorrhea and chlamydia, being overweight, having a prior vasectomy, certain medication, radiation and genetic predisposition.
