Primary amenorrhoea
Primary amenorrhoea is when menses fails to occur by age 16, in the presence of secondary sexual characteristics such as pubic hair and breast development. If a girl is not menstruating by the age of 13 and has no secondary sexual characteristics, she should see a doctor for investigations.
