Developmental milestones
During the 2nd yr, toddlers move around more and they are aware of themselves and their surroundings. They recognize themselves in pictures or a mirror, imitate the behaviour of others, recognize the names of familiar people and objects, form simple phrases and sentences and follow simple instructions.
