CS complications - Injury

There may be injury to the bladder or the bowel since these organs are near the womb.
Because the womb gets a lot of blood during pregnancy, a caesarean section procedure may be associated with significant blood loss that may require a blood transfusion. Sometimes after a caesarean section, one may develop an infection of the abdominal cut or the womb or develop clots in the veins of the legs. This clot could migrate to the lungs and cause a threat to life.
