Jaundice treatment - Supportive therapy
While your baby is under phototherapy, their eyes should be covered to protect them from the light. Depending on the severity of the illness, they may also receive fluids via a vein to prevent dehydration. You may also be advised to continue breastfeeding or giving formula milk.
