Neonatal sepsis - Supportive care

This involves, control of temperature if your baby has a fever. If your baby has difficulties in breathing, they may be given oxygen to support breathing. If your baby is too sick to breastfeed or take formula, they may be given fluids through the vein to keep them well hydrated. The other feeding option is through a tube inserted through the nose to the stomach. If your baby is not too sick to eat, you must continue feeding them.
