Caesarean section preparation - Anaesthesia
Be sure to discuss and agree with your anaesthetist on the type of anaesthesia. Evidence strongly suggests that spinal anaesthesia is safer compared to general anaesthesia. You may be allowed to bring your partner to theatre if allowed. It may be important to meet the baby doctor before the baby is born so as to create a rapport.
