Caesarean section preparation - Expectations
It may be an anxious moment when your scheduled time nears. This is because it is a totally different experience from childbirth. Take time to discuss with your care giver about all your fears about this mode of delivery.
Sometimes, your doctor may recommend that you have a caesarean when you are in labour. Sometimes it may feel frustrating when after labouring for some hours, you are advised to have a caesarean. Take your time to ask the reason why this may be an appropriate mode of delivery.
Most health facilities will allow your partner to come to the operating theatre. If this is acceptable to you, you may allow them to come along.
