Hypertension in pregnancy - Symptoms
You may not notice that your blood pressure is high until it's checked by your health provider. When the pressure is very high or you are about to develop complications, symptoms like severe headache, visual blurring, difficulty breathing or pain in the upper abdomen may develop. Sometimes the baby's movements may diminish and this could be the only symptom. If you generally feel unwell, visit your health care provider, your blood pressure could be high.
