Vaccines - Measles vaccines

Measles is a deadly childhood illness. The disease spreads very easily, so it is important to be protected against infection. To prevent measles, children should be vaccinated with the measles vaccine. This vaccine is given into the muscle of the upper arm at 9 months. The measles vaccine is also found in combination with the rubella and mumps vaccine as MMR vaccine. This combination is given at 15 months.
