Falls in babies - Prevention

The little wriggling that babies do from birth and the rolling over they learn later can result in serious falls if care is not taken. Babies can easily fall from beds and changing tables. Never leave your child unattended on a changing table or bed and always place one hand on the baby when changing them. Whenever possible, use the floor when changing a baby. A baby's cot should not be more than 30cm from the ground and the safety rails should be raised whenever the baby is left unattended.
