Breast cancer
Breast cancer is a killer. Its high time we take good care of ourselves.
The number of this succumbing to this is rising. Government should do something.
@ Laura, i think we should have free mammograms for all women above the age of 40-or at least a subsided rate. For starters, do they even have the machines for such tests? Free breast screening during a month like this one would also go a long way towards creating awareness!!
lets find a way out for our mothers, sisters, daughters and friends who can't afford the expenses involved with cancer check-ups and chemo-therapies....the govt should chip in
@ Liz that's very true..we would save ourselves a whole lot if we go for check-ups but I still think they should be made easily available to people who can't afford them
What are some of the breast cancer myths you have heard?
@Muntez. I heard that men also get breast cancer. Don't know if its true or just a myth.
Men can definitely get breast cancer, whats sad is most men discover it too late :(
